    LeRoy Henry Sager, son of Clifford and Sibyl (Fulton) Sager, was born June 24, 1943 at Rushville, Nebraska. He grew up and received his education there and entered the United States Army in 1967. After his discharge in 1969, he returned to Nebraska and entered the ministry. He served in Nebraska, Utah, Minnesota and for ten years in Wisconsin. In 1992 due to failing health he resided with the Marvin Ramsden family in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. In 1999, LeRoy moved to South Dakota and lived with his sister and brother-in-law, Arlene and Ron Freesemann. He died on Wednesday, October 6, 2004 at the VA Medical Center in Sioux Falls at the age of 61 years, 3 months and 12 days. He was a member of a Christian fellowship and enjoyed corresponding with his friends and ministers around the world. He also enjoyed reading, singing, playing the harmonica and piano and scrabble.

    Grateful for having shared his life are his mother, Sibyl Sager of Rushville, NE; two brothers, Vernon Sager and his wife Carol of Porcupine, SD and Francis Sager and his wife Mary of Edmond, OK; one sister, Arlene Freesemann and her husband Ron of Castlewood, SD; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends. LeRoy was preceded in death by his father, three sisters, one brother, one niece and two nephews.
