    • Heart Attack Is Fatal To Clarence P. Whipp

      Clarence P. Whipp, 69, died in Mason General hospital early Thursday morning. He was stricken with a heart attack Wednesday evening. He was at the house of a daughter, mrs. Leonard Potter, Hoit. he was taken by ambulance in the the Mason hospital but failed in rally.

      Mr. Whipp made his home on College road, Mason. He returned from Florida 6 weeks ago. Last year on their way home Mr. and Mrs. Whipp were in an automobile accident ??, an accident which cost Mrs. Whipp her life.

      Mose of Mrl Whipp's life was devoted in the real estate business. he was a member of the Lansing real Estate Board. He was born in Lansing July 29, 1885. There are 4 children, Bernard E. Whipp, Laperer; Mrs. Potter, Holt; Mrs. Bertram Racine, Lansing; and Mrs. Robert E. Moss, Laperer, a grandson and 7 granddaughters. There are also a brother D.V.Whipp, Sr., Lansing, and 3 sisters, Mrs. Claude C. Smith; Holt; Mrs. Lon Fahner, Charlotte; and Mrs. Pearl Perry, Grand Rapids.

      Services for Mr. Whipp will be at Ball Dunn funeral home, Mason, Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock with burial in Eaton Rapids cemetery.
