    • Lena I. Wolf, age 95, died on Wednesday, January 4, 1995, in a Madison nursing home. She was born in Baraboo, WI on September 23, 1899 and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Zimmerman. She married Frank G. Wolf in May of 1934 in Baraboo, WI. After her marriage she resided in Sun Prairie, WI, where her son was born. In 1940, Lena and her family moved to their farm in the Town of Sun Prairie. What she enjoyed most about being a farm wife was working in her garden and tending to a flock of chickens. She lived there until the death of her husband in October of 1963 and moved to Colonial View Apartments where she resided until shortly before her death. She was a member of Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church and the church Ladies Aid Society. Survivors include a son, Wayne (Beverly) Wolf of Nekoosa, WI; four grandchidren, Jeffery (Lori) Wolf of Sun Prairie, Gregory (Tracy) Wolf of Bartlett, IL, Steven Wolf of Lusby, MD, Suzan (Timothy) Hudson of Jena, LA; and two great-grandchildren, Melissa Wolf of Sun Prairie and Nathaniel Hudson of Jena, LA. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; three sisters; and three brothers. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 8, 1995 at the Tuschen-Newcomer Funeral Home, 302 Columbus St. in Sun Prairie, with Pastor Elton Stroh officiating. Burial will be at the Sun Prairie City Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 5:30 until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 7, 1995 at the funeral home. Lena cherished the friendships with the residents and administration staff at the Sun Prairie Colonial Club and Colonial View Apartments. WSJ 1/6/1995
