Name |
Ebenezer CRANE [1] |
- Settled first in Mansfield, Conn., but was of Lebanon in 1765, when in April of that year he declined to act with his brother Hezekiah as one of the executors of his father's will. He could not have long been a resident of Lebanon, for he was of Mansfield in 1762 and again in 1770. It is supposed the family removed from the town, as no records of his descendants are to be found at Mansfield where his children were born. It appears that he was twice married, for his grandson Edmund Franklin Craine, says he married a Welsh lady by name of Mary Neff. [1]
