    • Gladys "Betty" Mortimore, 88, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 29th, 2013 surrounded by her loving family.

      Betty was born in Westwood, NJ and came to Brevard in 1979. She was a devoted wife and mother and very beloved by her husband Roger, children and grandchildren.

      She is survived by her daughters, Joan (Mark) Smith, Carol (David Adams) Mortimore, Barbara (Gene) Phillips; grandchildren Douglas (Karen) Kreuzkamp and Susan (Jason) Treadaway; great grandchildren, Jackson and Sydney Treadaway and Colton Kreuzkamp, sister Marion and many nieces and nephews.

      She was preceded in death by her husband Roger and her daughter, Laurie.

      Betty was an avid lifelong bowler. She had just finished out her bowling season, having bowled in two leagues every week for the past twenty years. She highly valued her friendships with her co-bowlers.

      Funeral Information

      Visitation will be held at Ammen Family Cremation and Funeral Care, 950 Malabar Road SE, Palm Bay, on Saturday, June 1, 2013 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, with funeral services to follow at 3:00 PM. Entombment will follow at Fountainhead Memorioal Park, Palm Bay.
