He was knighted by King Henry VIII for bravery at the battle of Spurs on 16 Aug 1513 and was installed Knight of the Garter in 1541. He was Comptroller of the King's Household, Vice-Chamberlain of Household to King Henry VII, Privy Councillor, and executor of the King. The will of Sir Anthony Wyngfeld, K.G, was dated 13 Aug 1552 and proved 18 Nov 1553. [1]
