  • Name Hilda B. LUNT  [1, 2] 
    • I am placing Hilda Lunt as the wife of Gordon Greenough. I have not found any actual proof other than Hilda and Gordon were both living with Hilda's sister Queenie in the 1925 census. Hilda, stated as being widowed, again is living with her sister in the 1930 census. For the 1940 census, a Hilda was listed as the wife to Gordon.

      However, I am puzzled by the married name for Hilda. Vermont Vital Records for 1760-1954 lists Hilda LUNT daughter of Plummer LUNT and Emma B. KENNEDY as the bride to Edward CONDON. It is dated October 22, 1912. There is also a birth/death record for Joseph CONDON. He is the son of Hilda LUNT and Edward CONDON, was born 14 Dec 1912 and died 17 Dec 1912. In the 1925 and again in the 1930 census Hilda's last name is COLWELL. She is referred as being the sister in law to the head of the household (Wm. J. Greenough). I have not found Hilda LUNT marrying a COLWELL. It could possible be a misprint. So for now I will continue to leave her as the wife to Gordon GREENOUGH.
