  	She was the first wife of Reverend Samuel Seabury (1706-1764) and she was the mother of Bishop Samuel Seabury (1729-1796). Her dates of birth and death come from the "Mayflower Families through Five Generations" publication (family of John Alden) by the General Society of Mayflower Descendants. Several considerations lead to the conclusion that she was buried underneath St. James Episcopal Church in New London. (1) According to the "Memoir of Bishop Seabury"(1908), in the early history of the Parish the custom prevailed of burying the dead beneath the Church.(2) Her funeral took place in New London. Her funeral on May 10, 1731 is mentioned in the "Diary of Joshua Hempstead of New London Connecticut" and (3) Her husband was the rector of the Episcopal Church at the time of her death.
