Name |
Thomas CHAMBERLAIN [1] |
- He purchased land in Newton of Isaac and Ann Hammond in 1693 and 1694. Was executor of John Clark's will in 1695. He already owned a homestead in Newton, which he purchased of nathaniel Hammond, on July 6, 1688.
There appears to have been a connection between the families previous to his marriage, as on march 25, 1650, the proprietors of Cambridge gave a deed of land in Shawshine (Billerica) and among them "William Chamberline" signed for "Thomas Hammond's lott." (Middlesex Deeds, Vol. 4, p. 159) [1]
