- In 1851, he went from Oswego, N.Y., to Libertyville, Ill., and in Nov., 1856, to Onalaska, Wisconsin. He worked for some years as carpenter and builder, and later as saw filer and millwright. He lived for a time in Louisiana, Mo., and in different places inWisconsin. He was one of the organizers of the Aiken-Gleason Co., of La Crosse, Wis., incorporated in 1896 and engaged in the manufacture of photographic supplies. He is now President of this company. [1]
