      WILLIAM SLAWSON DIES AT HOSPITAL IN SLIVER CREEK

      Silver Creek, - William Newton Slawson, 76, of Hanover Center died at Silver Creek hospital at 8:50 Sunday evening after a brief illness. He was born in Perrysburg 76 years ago. Mr. Slawson was a prominent fruit grower and farmer for many years and after retirement from that occupation he operated cottage camps in Sheridan and in Irving.
      Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Bessie Slawson; two daughters, Mrs. Genevieve naylor of New York City and Mrs. Marion Mead of Sheridan; and a son, Newton Slawson of Hanover Center.
