- She was carried into captivity to Canada, from Deerfield, in 1704, by the Indians, she being at the time engaged o be married to Jonathan Strong. On her return, he, supposing that she was dead, was married to some one else, and she married Samuel Clapp. After Mr. Clapp's death, she was married to Mr. Strong, when she was between 70 and 80 years old.
