JOSEPH RAMSIER (Dec 8, 1893)
OBITURARY
Died, at his home in Wetzel Co., Dec. 2nd 1893, at 9:30 am of typhoid fever,Joseph Ramsier, in the 32nd year of his age, after an illness of three weeks, during which time he suffered untold misery, although he bore his aflictions without murmuring. The writer visited him several times during his illness and tried to encourage him, but he said to me, "I guess I am bound to die." as if he knew and fully realized his situation. The deceased leaves a wife and three small children, two girls and one boy, besides a host of relatives and friends to mourn his untimely end. He was a loving father and an affectionate companion and a good and kind neighbor, always ready to help in time of need. He was honest and upright with all men and esteemed by all who knew him.
