Judah PADDOCK [2, 3, 4] |
- Judah Paddock was a whaler; his gravestone calls him Captain. He was granted 20 shares in the common land division in yarmouth in 1710. He was chosen selectman in 1718 and was the acting parish clerk the same year when the East Precinct was organized. Judah was chosen to moderate the meetings of the East Precinct parish on 22 March 1722/3, 5 November 1723, 11 July 1726, 12 Mae 1727/8, 12 October 1728, 21 January 1728/9, 28 March 1733, 9 january 1734/5, and 1 October 1735. he was chosen as one of the assessors for the parish on 12 March 1727/8 and 13 March 1728/9.
David Alden on 5 June 1718 gave 45 acres each in lots #141 and #156 in Middleborough in the South Purchase for love and affection to his daughter Alice and son-in-law Judah Paddock, of Yarmouth. On 19 December 1723 they sold this land and on 1 July 1730 they sold David Alden's rights in the 16 Shilling Purchase in Middleborough to Noah sprague.

| Capt. Judah Paddock Headstone Capt. Judah Paddock is the husband of Else (Alice) Alden, and the son of Zachariah Paddock and Deborah Sears. He is buried in the Paddock Cemetery in East Dennis, Barnstable Co., Massachusetts.
