    • Paonia, Colorado resident, Nellie Harding, passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2015 at Paonia Care Center in Paonia, Colorado. She was 82 years of age.

      Nellie was born on May 15, 1933 to Adam and Ida Ellen (Adcox) Sill in Edmond, Oklahoma. She spent her childhood in Brookfield, Missouri were she attended grade school. The family moved to Colorado and she attended Lamborn Mesa School.

      On September 17, 1948 Nellie married Perry Harding in Delta, Colorado. To this union three children were born. The couple had the honor of sharing 66 years of love and marriage.

      Nellie was a former member of Bible Center Church and Minnesota Creek Club. She loved to bake pies, gardening and sewing.

      Nellie is survived by her husband, Perry Harding; two daughters: Kathleen (Lawrence) Ungaro, of Rangely, CO, and Debbie (Carl) Miller, of Lazear; seven grandchildren: Leanne (Brian) Tobiasson, Laurie Claybaugh, April (Derrin) Noel, Lacey Miller, Chase Miller, Brandon Harding and Cody Miller; and 18 great-grandchildren.

      Nellie was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Milton Harding; and two brothers.

      Memorial contributions can be made to Delta County Memorial Hospital Oncology Center 1501 E 3rd Street Delta, Colorado 81416.

      A funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 11, 2015 at the Bible Center Church in Paonia, Colorado.

      Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Paonia. [1]
