- The will of John Huse of Newbury, yeoman, dated 4 January 1736, was probated 30 August 1736. In it he names daughter Martha Jenkins; minor children Mary, Abigail, Sarah, Hannah, and infant son John by second wife; also brother, Abel Huse, Jr. His stock of "cattle, sheep, and negroes, and horses," together with his real estate were left to the infant son John and, in case of his death, to his sister Ann.
In September 1736, Sa;rah Hannah chose their uncle Abraham Toppan as guardian. [1]
