- He removed to Milford about 1639 and was Deacon there; and one of the first and a leading citizen of that place. He was admitted to the Milford Church, Oct. 14, 1641 and his wife, Mary, Dec 19 of that year. He was originally fro Watertown, Mass., and is supposed to have come to Wethersfield about 1635, where he had a homestead recorded to him, March 16, 1640. [1]
