- Paul Eddy was a soldier. He was attached to a troop of horse from Taunton under the command of Zephaniah Leonard which was sent to the frontier in 1759 to try to settle the question of the ownership of the country between the St. Lawrence and New England, which was not settled by the Treaty of Peace in 1748 (Emery, Hist. of Taunton, p. 17)

Residence not given. Entered service, Sep 28. Served Until Oct 3. Year not given but probably 1748. Length of service 6 days. Service on an alarm. [1]
