Thomas Dudley: He was a Sergeant in his father's company at the siege of Louisburg in 1745, where he was considered bold in his exploits there. He acquired a reputation for bravery and a strong mind. He became a public speaker for the Friends Society. He never engaged in war again, including the Revolutionary War.
