  	BETTY C. WENTZLER AGE 83 YEARS Betty C. Wentzler, of Watsontown, went to be with her lord and savior on Monday, Oct. 9, 2017, at her home. She was the daughter of the late Charles G. and Carolyn (Whittaker) Comstock. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Dr. Jack W. Fiedler II. She was married to Dr. James D. Wentzler for 32 years until his passing in May of 2007. She was a 1952 graduate of West Chester High School and in 1955 she graduated Registered Nursing School. In 1960 she graduated from the Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist and had worked at the former Divine Providence Hospital, Williamsport and Muncy Valley Hospital, Muncy. She retired as a CRNA from Evangelical Community Hospital in 1991. Following retirement, she and her husband traveled the country doing locum tenens work until 1995. Betty was a woman of many interests, especially gardening, sewing, and her Springer Spaniel dogs. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and loved her family very much. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Jack W. III and Jolene (Moyer) Fiedler, Watsontown; and three grandchildren. Preceding her in death besides her husbands was a brother, Robert Comstock. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 15, 2017, at East District Mennonite Church, 71 E. District Road, Watsontown, with Pastor Greg Sanford of Community Baptist Church, Montoursville, officiating. Burial will follow in Watsontown Cemetery.
