  	Beloit Daily News, Wednesday, October 27, 1999 ROCKTON - Ruth Hulett Jecklin, 83, of Rockton, Ill., died Monday, Oct. 25. 1999, in her home. She was born May 27, 1916 in Beloit, Wis., the daughter of Paul Mason and Anna Louis Hulett, and lived in Rockton all her life. She graduated from Hononegah High School, Class of 1934. Ruth married Peter Edmund Jecklin on Oct. 25, 1942, in the Rectory of St.. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, Rockford, Ill. They celebrated 57 years of marriage. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church. South Beloit, Ill., the church Altar Society and the Christian Women's Club, the Rockton Women's Club, and the Rockton Historical Society. Survivors include her husband, Peter of Rockton; three daughters, Mary Jean Jecklin and husband, Kelley Rea, of Minneapolis, Minn., JoAnn (Richard) Shaefer of Albuquerque, N.M., and Janet Lynn (Edward) Hennessey of Glen Ridge, N.J.; four grandchildren, Adrian Jeckin Schaefer of Albuquerque, Patrick Connor Hennessey, Margaret Ann Hennessey, and Nora Sineed Hennessey, all of Glen Ridge; brother-in-law, Rev. Eugene Douglass of Milwaukee; sister-in-law, Jeanne Hulett of Rockton; several nieces and nephews; extended family and caregivers. She was predeceased by her parents; a brother, Robert Hulett, and a twin sister, Margaret Douglass. A Memorial Mass will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 30, 1999, in St. Peter Catholic Church, South Beloit, Ill., with Msgr. Thomas Brady officiating. There will be no visitation. Private graveside services will be held in Holy Cross Cemetery, Stockton, Jo Daviess County, Ill. Daley, Murphy, Wisch and Associates Funeral Home, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, Wis., assisted the family with arrangements.
