Samuel WARD [1] |
- He had a 2d wife, Elizabeth, who survived him. He d. 1729, aged 84. In his will, dated May 22, 1727, he says he is "well stricken in years and crazy in body, but of perfect mind and memory." His will was contested n Probate Court, Dec. 19, 1729, by all his children and heirs (save his son, Samuel, to whom he gave most of his estate) on the ground, that he was crazy in mind as well as in body, when he made his will.
