- He was a justice of King William County, a tobacco agent and captain of militia. Nathaniel represented the county in the House of Burgesses in 1702. He owned 2,000 acres in King William County and 6,370 acres New Kent County. Captain West was voted to serve as vestryman at a Vestry meeting held for St. Peter's Parish at the house of Mr. James Moss on 23 Apr 1703. Nathaniel died after 30 Oct 1723. [1]
