He was sent to England as a child, where he was raised at Borwick Hall, Warton parish, co. Lancs. Nathaniel and Jane had three daughters and a son Robert, who all died young. Nathaniel second wife was Elizabeth (Preston) Sagar, with whom he had no children.

Nathaniel established himself near his brother Francis and had a plantation in 1622 in Westover Hundred. He immigrated in 1618 to Jamestown.

Nathaniel married Frances GREVILLE in 1621 in Virginia. Frances was born on 10 Oct 1601 in Chilton, co. Wilts; died in 1634 in Mathews Manor, York, Virginia. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
