    He was married, possibly at Calne, co. Wilts, about 1598, as her second husband to Joan Weare (or Browne), widow (with eight children) of John Hinckley, of Salisbury, and daughter of John Wears alias Browne, of Calne. Ferdinando and Joan had eight children. He became an innholder through the inheritance of his wife from her grandfather, William Weare alis Browne, innholder of Salisbury. Ferdinando Baynton was living on 4 Nov. 1616.

    He was married for the first time about 1505 to Elizabeth Sulliard, daughter of John Sulliard, Knt., of Weston, Norfolk, Lord Chief Justice of the Common Pleas, by his second wife Anne (descendant of King Edward I), daughter of John Andrews, Esq., of Baylham, Suffolk. They had three sons and fourd daughters. He married for the second time about 18 Jan. 1531/2 to Isabel Leigh, daughter of Ralph Leigh, of Stockwell in Lambeth, Surrey, by Joyce Culpepper (descendant of King Edward I). They had two sons, Sir Edward Baynton was Vice Chamberlain to three of the wives of King Henry VIII (Anne Boleyn, Jane Seymour and Anne of Cleves). He built a new manor house at Bromham and twice entertained there King Henry VIII and his court, once in 1535 when Henry was courting Jane Seymour. When, in the summer of 1540, King Henry was married to her half sister Katherine Howard, Isabel Baynton became a Lady of the Privy Chamber. He (ad presumable Isabel as well) was present at the marriage of King Henry and Katheine Parr.
