Name:
At the time of his marriage to Dorothy, he was thirty-six years old and his wife twenty. In 1655, he moved from Hartford, Conn., to Northampton, Mass., where his daughter Margery, was born. His wife died in giving birth to her. He signed the church covenant there June 18, 1661. Two years later he had contributed three acres of lad towards the settlement of a minister at Northampton.

John married Dorothy LORD in Apr 1651. Dorothy (daughter of Thomas LORD and Dorothy BIRD) was christened on 1 Jul 1629; died in Jan 1656/57 in Northampton, Hampshire County, Massachusetts. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
