Cecily Mortimer is the daughter and co-heiress of Thomas Mortimer, Knt., of Newnham, co. Cambridge, and Attleborough, by Mary, daughter of Nichola Park. She was half-sister of John Fastolf, Knt., with whom he had a life-long friendship.
