Smith, Marie Vanderhoof (nee Clouse) 91 years old, passed on to the Lord on Thursday, October 31, 2013 in Sebring, Florida. Born on July 18, 1922 to William and Jennie Clouse in Hamburg, New Jersey. Marie moved to New York State and lived in New Windsor, New York for about 46 years before moving to Florida in 2009. She resided with her niece Barbara and her husband, Steve.

She is survived by brothers, Roland Clouse of Florida and Roger Clouse of Maryland. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as grand nieces and nephews.

Marie was preceded in death by her parents, son, Benny Vanderhoof, Husband's, Benjamin Vanderhoof and Joseph Smith, sister, Naomi Romyns, Brother's, Victor Clouse, Albert Clouse, Kenneth Clouse and William Clouse.

Funeral services will be held in Avon Park, Florida and F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, 1 Main Street, Franklin, New Jersey 07416 on November 16, 2013, visitation from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. graveside service immediately following at North Hardyston Cemetery in Hardyston Township, New Jersey.

BIO: On her father's side...she was a descendant of John Kimble. Her grand-parents were James Nelson Kimble and Julia Kemble Kimble. Her parents were James Nelson Kimble II and Mary Ann Norman Kimble. They Married in 11/01/1881 and had 11 childern.
Jennie Kimble was there 4th child born on 10/07/1888. Jennie married William Sanford Clouse Jr. (5/20/1886-5/08/1969) on 12/22/1906. Together they had 8 childern.
1st child, Victor Robert Clouse (4/29/1908-8/12/1989), he married Lenora Lewis (1914-1970).
2nd Child, Naomi Jennie Clouse Romyns born on (4/14/1911-1/11/1982). She married Fred Romyns (1909-1978) on 2/11/1930. They had 3 children.
3rd Child, Albert Hampton Clouse was born on 4/25/1914. He married Mary C. Hawkins. Together they had 6 Children.
4th Child, Kenneth Reuben Clouse (5/16/1916-12/04/1995). He married Cora Mae King (1/18/1919-2/08/1996) on 4/21/1937. Together they had 4 Children.

6th Child, Marie Helen Clouse Vanderhoof Smith born 7/18/1922. Marie was married twice. Marie had one child, Benjamin Vanderoof Jr.,who died at the age of four.
