Susan Alice Godfrey

---Mrs. Susan Alice Godfrey died at her home in Marengo township last evening following a prolonged illness. She was born in Clarendon township, December 29, 1862 and was the daughter of Henry T. Long and Ellen Murdock Long. When a small child, with her parents she moved to the home on the North River road. She was married November 22, 1882 to Allen L. Godfrey who preceded her in death nine years ago.
---Surviving is one daughter Mary E. Godfrey at home, and several nieces and nephews.
---Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Kelser-More funeral home. Rev. Harry W. Staver will officiate and burial will be in Oakridge cemetery. Friends may call at the residence until Sunday noon.
