Mr. Hoyt was the son of the late Elmer and Bertha VanName Hoyt. he had lived n Wilton most of his life, and was a printer for 27 years with Conde Nast, Old Greenwich. He also had his own painting and decorating business in town for many years,

Mr. Hoyt died on Feb. 5 in Bridgeport Hospital at age 77.
