    Name:
    I do not believe that Jonathan Leander Slawson is the son of Ebenezer Slawson and Ann. He is a descendant, but I believe his father is David Slawson. I have not found proof yet

    According to Probate record for Jonathan "Leander" Slawson, his children are listed as Martha, Mary, Thomas, Nancy Ann, John Jr., Thomas and Hardin.

    Jonathan married Nancy MATTHEWS on 15 Feb 1827 in Montgomery, Alabama. Nancy was born about 1813 in Alabama; died in 1891 in Dimmit County, Texas. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

    Based on this, it seems very likely that they are the parents of Ezekiel, David, James B., Jonathan, John Zeddock, William and Augustus. Plus, a daughter.

    I will be attaching these siblings, based on this assumption. However, further research is needed.
