    Obituary for SARAH DOROTHY SCHREEDER -

    SARAH DOROTHY SCHREEDER Newburgh, N.Y. Sarah Dorothy Schreeder of Newburgh, N.Y., a retired animal caretaker and a lifelong resident of the area died Wednesday, March 7, 2007 in Newburgh. She was 68. The daughter of Horace Henry and Grace Anna DeGraw Slawson, she was born December 31, 1938 in Monroe, N.Y. She was the widow of Robert W. Schreeder Sr. Survivors include her daughter, Sharon Evans and her husband Steve of Reddick, Fla.; son, Robert W. Schreeder, Jr. and his wife Terri of Davenport, Fla.; sister, Lillian Taylor and her husband Bill of Port Orange, Fla.; grandchildren, great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and her little Boy "Dusty". She was predeceased by sisters Judy, Pat and Fran and brother George. Dot will always be remembered for her famous cup of coffee and will also be remembered as a loving, caring, giving person to many people. She had an infectious laugh, and was loved by all who knew her. Her last gift was the donation of her eyes, so someone else may see. Thanks to the nursing staff at St. Luke's Hospital who comforted Mom and her loved ones till the end. Memorial service will be private. Cremation will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice. Arrangements were made by Millspaugh Funeral Directors.
