  	Ralph Donald Weld, 92, formerly of Dana, passed away Saturday (April 14, 2012) at the Good Samaritan Home, Flanagan, Livingston Co., Illinois. He was born September 28, 1919 on a farm west of Streator, LaSallle Co, Illinois, to Orlando and Alice Moore Weld. He married Zelda Leonard on October. 1, 1944. She passed away in June 2000. He was preceded in death by sisters, Lois Weld Moore, Jean Drapp, Margaret Lake and stepson, Jeff Repko. He is survived by their three children, Sheryl Ann (Bill) Riddle, Pamela (Lynn) Flohr and Michael (Marcia) Carpenter; seven grandchildren, Zackary (Amanda Poe) Riddle; Elley Riddle Billings; Thad (Alicia Raycraft) Flohr; Garrick (Donya Wills) Flohr and Luke, Lindsey and Lee Weld and eight great-grandchildren, Zada and Zane Riddle; Baylor, Breegan and Brooklyn Billings and Mauna, Gareth and Katarina Flohr. At age 82 he married Marjorie Coyle Repko whose children are Jerry Repko, Judy (Ben) Darrow and Jane (Don) Burke; her family includes four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Don farmed in the Dana area for 75 years. He was active in the Dana Methodist Church and served as Sunday school superintendent for several years. He served on the Minonk-Dana-Rutland school board for several terms. He sold insurance for Thomas Jefferson Life Insurance Co. and sang with the Minonk Villageaires for many years.
