- Death of a Former Resident
A telegram was received by Henry B. Ransom, Wednesday forenoon, announcing the death of his brother, Charles H. Ransom, at Sioux Falls, South Dakota, the previous night. Deceased was for many years a resident of this village, and for several years held the position of Deputy Postmaster under his father. He had for some time made his home in the west, his last visit to Plattsburgh being about a year ago. The remains will be brought here for interment. [1]
