- Walter Fitz Walter, 5th Lord Fitz Walter, younger son, was born at Woodham Walter and Baptised there on 22 June 1401, and brother and heir of humphrey Fitz Walter. He was actively employed in the French wars of King Henry V, and was taken prisoner at Bauge on 22 Mar 1421. He was Master of the King's Dogs and Harthounds on 16 July 1425. He was summoned to Parliament from 12 July 1429 by writs directed 'Waltero fitz Wauter chivaler'. [1]
