He is survived by his son Jerry Slawson, II and his wife, Anne and their two children, Ryan and Brenna, and his daughter, Patty Slawson Barnes and her son Bryce. He has two brothers, Amos Slawson and his wife Doris, and Randalle Slawson, and sister, Florine Robinson. He has several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sat. March 26, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Runge Community Center at 4605 Peck Ave., Santa Fe, TX with a visitation of family/friends immediately following.
