    • Marvin Lester Leonard, 58, of Clinton died May 21, 1979 in Dr. John Warner Hospital, Clinton. Funeral services were held in St John's Catholic Church, Clinton with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Elks Crippled Children Fund or the Clinton Fire Department.

      Mr. Leonard was born in Manville IL April 30, 1921, s/o Ralph and Maude Berge Leonard. He married Margaret Ione Rediger on August 28, 1942 in Norfolk VA. Surviving are his wife; two sons: William of Clinton; Barry of Monticello; a daughter: Marsha Smith of Clinton; a brother, Merle of Joliet; five sisters: Mrs. Wanetta Skaropea of Mundelein IL; Mrs. Shirley Overrocker, Lila Kenworth and Mrs. Velda Weld, all of Dana IL; Mrs. Burdett Lake of Toluca IL; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.

      Mr. Leonard was a CLU agent for Mutual of Omaha, a member of St John's Catholic Church and Clinton Elks Club. He was a veteran of WW II.
