He was appointed physician to the "army gone to Crown Point, October, 1755" (Conn. Col. Records, 10:444).
Documents pertaining to the settlement of his estate are found in the Windham Probate Records, 6:162, 7:117,118. he owned buildings near the meeting house of the third society of Windham. [1]
