The will of Peter Ambler signed 16 Apr., prob. 3 June, 1850 mentions wife Chloe, 3 sons; Lewis M., Peter W. and Charles Ambler; also mentions dau. Chloe Ann wife of Daniel Rounds. Lewis M. Ambler residuary legatee. Witnesses Meshack Straight of Stephentown, Rens. Co. and Frederick Smith of Nassau. It seems probable that his wife Chloe was born Waterbury. [1]
