Joseph CHAFFE [1] |
- Joseph Chaffe lost his father in November, 1694, when he was only sixteen years old. He was, with his mother and brother, executor of his father's estate and under his father's will received the family Bible which had belonged to his father and his grandfather Chaffe, his father's sword and a heifer, also half his father's "tooles" and gun, and on reaching the age of Twenty-one, half his upland and meadow ground in Swansea.
