- James Warren Hilton, Jr., "Bus" Hilton, as he was generally called by his friends, was born on the 22nd of October, 1906 in Salt Lake City to James Warren, Sr. and Mary Knight Hilton and died on August 26, 2004. In his youth he attended the Hamilton School and East High School as the Bryant Junior High School was not built until he was a senior at East. At age 15 he entered the employment as apprentice in his father's shop, the Standard Printing Company from 1921 - 1924 then worked as a Linotype Operator at the Paragon Printing Co. from 1924 - 1934 then transferred to the Superior Typesetting Co. from 1935 - 1950, finally ending his employment in the printing industry at the Quality Press from 1950 - 1982, retiring in that year. On November 26, 1929 he married Ida LoDema McGinley and was divorced on December 24, 1943. Two children, Ronald M. Hilton and Jo Ann (both deceased). On August 10, 1947 he married Mary Betsy Peppard and was divorced on May 29, 1950 (no children), on July 14, 1951 he married Dorothy Gormley and was divorced on November 11, 1973, two children, Linda Rae (Bob) and James Warren Hilton, III (Paula). Two children, James Hilton, IV (Lora) and Cozzette (Anthony). He is also survived by grandchildren. In 1956 Jim joined the Mineralogical Society of Utah (a rock-hunting club) and in 1960 - 1961 he was appointed the field trip guide. In 1962 - 1963 he was elected president. These were very pleasant years for him. Jim was a life-long member of the LDS Church and attained the office of a High Priest. For ten years he served a stake mission as an extractor for names to be used in the church from Norway. His funeral held in the First Ward Chapel, 760 East 7th South on September 1, 2004.
