      Mary A. Stephens - age 34 - wife. This is the wife of William A. Stephens. William came first to New Jersey and settled in the Pochuck Mountains at a place now called McAfee. He then sent for his family. After William died in 1875 from congestion of the lungs, Mary Ann took on boarders. William Stephens was the brother-in-law of Henry Hucker. Henry may have worked in the same mine with William.
