  Notes	E-Mail from Maric Harbijanae - From New Jersey Herald Aug. 13, 1959 "Car Crash Fatal to Franklin Man" Franklin - Walter E. Sisco of Green Street, died Monday in the Franklin Hospital from injury suffered in a one car crash July 31 on Route 23. Three other persons injured in the crash have been released from the hospital. Sisco, with other passengers was riding in a car operated by Harold Christy, 57 of 423 Rutherford Avenue, when the steering wheel failed to respond. The men were returning from work at the McGregor factory at Dover. Mr. Sisco was born in McAfee 59 years ago and had lived here most of his life. He was employed as an electrician at the Franklin and Ogdensburg Plants of the New Jersey Zinc Company for 30 years prior to the shutdown two years ago. Since that time he had worked at the McGregor factory in Dover. He was a member of the Franklin Presbyterian Church. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Meryl L. Sisco; a son, Robert C. of Sparta; a daughter, Mrs. Catherine Meyer, of Franklin; two brothers Edwin of Hamberg; Everett J. of Newton; five sisters, Mrs. Agnes Rome of Butler; Mrs. Minerva Spencer of Branchville; Mrs. Lida Punk of Newton; Mrs. Ethel Givans, of Branchville and Mrs. Ester Hines of Woodbridge and seven grandchildren. Services will be held today (Thursday) at 2 p.m. at the F. John Ramsey Funeral Home 1 Main Street. The Rev. Robert Strain, pastor of the Franklin Presbyterian Church will officiate. Burial will be in North Hardyston Cemetery.
