  	Probably the son of Joshua & ? (Clark) Williams. Husband of Lucinda Slosson (b. 1761, d. 1782) Husband of Eunice Hart (b.1763, d. Jun 29, 1822, Victor). Second husband of Lucy Tracy Boughton. Revolutionary War Veteran: Enlisted Jan 1, 1776 in Capt. Jacob Parson's Co. commanded by Col. Brewer, Massachusetts. Was in the service and discharged, then recalled and/or enlisted several times. Probably served a total of 2 to 3 years over the span of the war. (see pension application file). from "Historical gazetteer of Tioga County, New York, 1785-1888": "Lucinda Slosson, b at Kent, Conn., 8 Jan.. 1761; m 26 Nov., 1778, at Stockbridge, Mass., with Abijah Williams, son of Joshua Williams. She died at Stockbridge about June, 1782, leaving an only child, Enoch Slosson Williams, who was born at Stockbridge, 13. Dec, 1781, who was brought up by his grandparents, and came with them to Brown's settlement (Berkshire, NY) in 1793." He m. Eunice Hart Oct. 30, 1783 Abijah Williams settled in Victor in 1790, first in the north part, but moving later on to the southern part of the town.
