Name |
Oliva M. WILBUR [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6] |
- After discovering the obituary notice for Mary Wilber, wife of R.W. Padelford, I am convinced that Olivia is Mary's sister. I will continue to research Mary's siblings in hopes of finding another connection. Until then, I will leave Olivia connected with this family.

Notes |
- Article from "Crystal Lake Herald" dtd 9-6-1896:
Mrs. Olive P. Dike
Mrs. Olive Padelford Dike died on Aug. 29 at the home of her son, Wilbur Padelford at Neeneh, Wis., aged 87 years. She was born in Chantauqua county, N.Y. Her first husband was John Padelford. They moved to Elgin in 1849.
Some time ago she was married to Geo. W. Dike of Crystal Lake. She leaves to mourn her loss a daughter, Mrs. Hattie Church of California, and a son, Wilbur Padelford of Neenah. Wis. The grandchildren, Oliva Anderson of Oak Park, Fred Hamilton and Grace Hill of Chicago, brought the remains to Elgin, where they were interred. The services were conducted by Rev. W.M. Kelsey of the Free Methodist Church, she having been a charter member of the church.
Note: After much consideration, I have come to the conclusion that John M, Jr. and John Wilbur are one and the same. The birth dates are very close.
