"I entered into a marriage state in my 28th year, and my wife in her 32d." "She d. in child-bed on the 10th of Oct., 1732." "Sept. 24, 1734, I was again married, and in my 31st year, and my wife in her 36th." "I was chosen Deacon of the church in May 1745, though much unfit for it. Good God! give me grace to be faithful to Thee, to the church, and my own soul." He made his will Jan. 1, 1772, "being desirous to set my house in order," and d. Dec. 1, of that year, aged 69; and his wid., Mary, Oct. 30 1773, aged 76. [1]
