    • Joan is the "only known illegitimate daughter of John King of England. Might of been the daughter of Queen Clementia.
      Her grave was destroyed at Henry VIII's dissolution of the monasteries and her coffin used as a horse trough. It along with its covering slab, was later rescued. On it was sculptured Joan's effigy.
