Name |
Daniel STARK [1, 2] |
- Daniel was tomahawked by the Indians during the Wyoming Massacre, which was witnessed by his nephew, Aaron Stark, who was wounded, but escaped.
The facts about Daniel are very meager. His name does appear as a witness, together with his brother James, on a deed given by his father, Christopher Stark, to Elder Wightman, dated at Oblong, Dutchess Co., NY, Dec 20, 1769. Daniel's name also is on the monument as one of those who died during the massacre, July 3, 1778. [1]
