She was the third and youngest daughter of John II of AragÛn and queen Blanche II of Navarre. She was born February 2, 1425, and was acclaimed by the cortes in Pamplona, August 9, 1427, being the legitimate heir of Charles, Prince of Viana, and Blanche.
