- His name appears in the list of those who took the oath of fidelity at Duxbury in 1657. He became a convert to the Quaker faith (s did his father) about this time, and meetings were held at his ouse, for which he was fined in december, 1657. He removed to Newport R.I., and then in about 1662 to Dartmouth. He was killed by the Indians at Pocasset during King Philip's war, 21st of 1st month, 1676. [1]
